
Raphael Saadiq has secured a deal with the Tony Childs-led management company Forward Artist Management. He joins a growing roster that includes Benjamin Booker, Tyler Cole and Sarah Cothran
“Raphael is one of one,” Childs told Variety.
“He’s been making history, creating some of the biggest musical moments of the last 30 years. He continues to write and rewrite the playbook on what an elite artist, producer, songwriter and creative is.”
Saadiq is a decorated producer and songwriter with more than 30 years of experience working with Whitney Houston, The Isley Brothers and TLC. He has lent his talents to several standout records, including “Cranes In The Sky” by Solange, “Soul Sista” by Bilal and “Lady” by D’Angelo. Most recently, he has played a part in crafting Beyoncé’s latest hits, “16 Carriages” and “Texas Hold ‘Em.”
As a front-facing recording artist, he’s released five solo albums, four albums with Tony! Toni! Toné! and a full-length LP with Lucy Pearl. Along the way, he’s picked up two GRAMMY Awards, two Golden Globe Award nominations and an Academy Award nomination.
