In April of 2016, the Wizards fired Wittman and hired Scott Brooks to replace him shortly thereafter.
Wittman coached the Wizards to a cumulative 178-199 record in his four seasons there.
The Magic have not been a good team in recent years, though it’s hard to pin that on the coaching; their roster, flushed with centers and non-shooters, is a bit perplexing. Maybe they should hire a managing consultant.
