The Wizards are not really sure what the future of Paul Pierce is going to hold, as it has been rumored whether he will return to the Wizards or go play for the Clippers next season.
Randy Wittman feels he doesn’t need to recruit Pierce in order for Pierce to return. Wittman knows Pierce experienced something magical in Washington this season, and he is going to have a tough time leaving this city even with all of the other options out there.
Following From Washington Post.
“I don’t need to recruit Paul,” Wittman said Monday. “What Paul saw here and what he did here, not only with the team but with the city, all of that plays into it. His family was comfortable here. Will I sit down and talk with him? Yeah. But I don’t think I need to recruit him.”
From all of the Wizards fans out there, Randy, please have more than just a talk with The Truth. We want him back, and need you to help bring him back for another run at the title. The Wizards will still be in contention without Pierce, but the team just won’t look the same.
