The trade of Robert Quinn between the #Dolphins and #Rams involves a mid-round pick going to LA and late-round picks being swapped, I’m told. It’ll be official in mid March.

This is the second major trade the Rams have been apart of the past few weeks. The Rams recently traded for Pro-Bowl cornerback Marcus Peters from the Kansas City Chiefs.
Quinn had a resurging season in 2017. He tallied a total of 8.5 sacks over 15 games. In Quinn, the Dolphins receive a proven pass rusher and solid defender who still has two years left on his contract. Quinn will make around the $24 million range.
The Rams lose a two time Pro Bowler in Quinn but gain a draft pick after giving up one in the Peters trade. The trade also marks a complete makeover of the Rams linebacker core. The Rams could look towards free agency or the draft to find a replacement for Quinn.
