With John Wall out due to a wrist injury suffered in the Game 1 victory in Atlanta, it was time for Ramon Sessions to show why the Wizards traded Andre Miller for him at the trade deadline. Sessions not only showed he was worth the trade, but also performed at a higher level than anybody expected him to perform at. Sessions will now be much more prepared for situations due to his increased opportunities in the Game 2 loss.
Ramon Sessions led the Wizards with 21 points, while also adding in 4 assists, 3 rebounds, and a steal in 40 minutes of play. With Sessions playing the way he was after a rough first quarter, it seemed he was going to be able to lead the Wizards to a 2-0 series lead over the Hawks. Sessions may see his role increased, but he will hopefully not have to make another start as long as John Wall stays healthy.
