San Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert is looking for a new team. As confirmed by Mostert’s agent Brett Tessler, the team has been unwilling to give Mostert a new contract despite his hefty contributions on the field.
After months of unproductive talks with the 49ers about fairly adjusting Raheem Mostert's contract (which paid him for special teams) we have requested a trade. Disappointing that it would come to this for a guy who led all NFL RBs in YPC & helped lead them to the Super Bowl.

Mostert had a breakout year this past season in San Francisco, which is his seventh landing spot since entering the league in 2015, notably posting a 220 rushing yard, four-touchdown game in the Niners’ NFC Championship game win over the Green Bay Packers. Mostert also posted one of the touchdowns for San Francisco in their Super Bowl LIV loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
With the trade request submitted by Mostert, the 49ers threaten to be thin at the running back position following the trade of Matt Breida to the Miami Dolphins in April.
