After much support, love, and eagerness from fans, Hip-Hop’s dynamic duo, Rae Sremmurd, have returned to the scene with new music from their forthcoming studio album. Just over a year ago, Swae Lee and Slim Jimmy took the world by storm as they released their debut album, SremmLife. Meeting much praise from fans and critics, there was no slowing the gentlemen down as they immediately hit the road and took their talents across the world. Now, just in time for the warm weather and Spring season, the guys have premiered their new single, ‘Look Alive,’ from SremmLife 2.
Taking a more mellow approach in comparison to previous music, Rae Sremmurd brings a little bit of everything on ‘Look Alive.’ With Swae Lee holding things down on the chorus, Slim Jimmy kicks things off with energy and passion before Swae jumps right back in on the mellow Mike Will Made-It production. At this moment, it appears that the two have found their niche all while willing to experiment. ‘Look Alive’ certainly serves as a great intro for what’s to come with their sophomore album.
