The cast for the second season of HBO’s ‘True Detective has been finalized and confirmed.
Kelly Reilly, Rachel McAdams and Taylor Kitsch have been tapped on to star in the upcoming season.
Reilly will star as Jordan, a former D-list actress who is in active partner in the criminal business run by her husband Frank Semyon [Vince Vaugn].
Kitsch will play Paul Woodrugh, a war veteran and motorcycle officer in the California Highway Patrol, who’s on the fun from a haunting past.
McAdams will star as Ani Bezzerides, a Ventura County Sherriff’s detective whose uncompromising ethics constantly put her at odds with others and the system.
It is suggested that sometime in the season, she she will go up against Garrell’s Ray Velcoro, who is described as a corrupt detective working under Semyon.
There’s no word yet on a premiere date!
