Former employee of R. Kelly claims federal authorities posses a collection of films the singer created while engaging in sexual acts with minors.
According to TMZ, the ex-employee says R. Kelly collected the videos as trophies and regularly recorded his explicit acts. The unidentified person testified in front of a federal grand jury in the Northern District of Illinois. During his testimony, the witness claimed R. Kelly paid them a large amount of cash for one of the tapes he had.
TMZ reports Cook County State Attorney Kim Foxx now has the video evidence. R. Kelly’s former employee also testified they turned over other tapes featuring the singer. In their testimony, the employee allegedly shared how R. Kelly’s crew, them included, assisted Kelly in pursuing underage girls.
R. Kelly’s lawyer Steve Greenberg tells TMZ, “This seems to be the same claims that were made in the state case,” he said. “We will address them in court.”
Kelly now faces 11 new felony counts of sexual assault and abuse including three counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse against an alleged 13-16 year old victim. If convicted, he faces up to 30 years behind bars on each charge.
