Quentin Miller has returned with a new project called na fr. The eight-track project features Sy Ari Da Kid, Big Rube, Damar Jackson, Lil’ Maddi and CJ Francis IV. Miller released the project as a surprise gift for his fans. Announcing his album on May 11, 2020, Miller returned just days later with nearly a half hour of new music. While it may be hard to believe, the Atlanta native already has six projects under his belt.
Miller opens the project with assistance from legendary poet Big Rube. The Hip-Hop legend offers words of advice for the rising artist on the project’s title track.
“Comin’ wit’ that boy Quentin Miller/This?ain’t?no joke, nah,?for real/You can seek the truth/Or?choose to accept the lies that they sell ya/’Cause livin’?life?gon’?show you the?real/Better than I?could ever hope to tell you,” Big Rube states.
Later, Miller teams up with Lil’ Maddi and CJ Francis on “Pop Up” produced by Lyle Leduff. The trio take us down memory lane of the struggles they’ve faced while also staying on point for the challenges ahead.
“Things I?didn’t?know?that I know?now/Gotta keep it?movin’, I can’t slow it down/I’m on my defense, on my Colin Powell/I gotta keep goin’ and I know it now,” Miller raps.
