Over the past few years, Chicago has ushered in a new crop of artists that are leading the way. At the forefront, Chance The Rapper, Vic Mensa, G Herbo, Lil’ Bibby, Chief Keef, Dreezy and many more have achieved mainstream success. More recently, the Windy City has helped usher in new artists like Juice WRLD, Saba, Noname and a few others. Along with this new class of Chicago artists is Queen Key.
Coming out of Chicago, Queen Key is a unique artist who blends the art of comedy with music in an innovative way. While she incites laughter and has her own style, don’t get it twisted. She’s born for this. In fact, she’s been making mixtapes since she was even years old. Now in her early twenties, Queen Key is in position to take her career to the next level with the release of her latest project.
Queen Key has dropped her first project of the new year, Eat My P*ssy Again. The new album comes with fifteen new tracks and features from Tokyo Jetz and Kidd Kenn. As she described in a recent interview with Def Pen’s DeMicia Inman, “This is my greatest project I’ve ever done. I feel like it’s very versatile. I got a lot of different types of music.” She later added, “It’s just really showing a lot more of me and I feel like people will understand me better from this project. They’ll really see my talent and see just that I’m great.”
