
Quavo has announced that Hunch Day is cancelled amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The news comes as many cities and states have banned large social gatherings. The Georgia based artist broke the news on Instagram earlier today.
“Due to the coronavirus being declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO): along with the public and government concern regarding crowd gatherings, we will be cancelling the 3rd Annual Hunch Day on the Nawf on April 5, 2020,” he wrote.
“We are disappointed, but feel strongly about doing our part to keep people safe and this virus contained. Thanks for your support and understanding. Please make sure you’re taking the necessary steps to take care of yourself and your family,” he added
As this article is written, there are reportedly 12 confirmed cases of the virus and 19 presumptive positive cases in the state of Georgia.. Unfortunately, there has already been one death in the state.
