This week, music has been at the forefront of film and television. During the show’s second season premiere, Nipsey Hussle was a focal point of The CW’s All-American. Meanwhile, Meg Thee Stallion, Vince Staples, Lil’ Baby and many more hopped on the soundtrack for Queen & Slim. Not to mention, Netflix released the first four episodes of Cardi B, T.I. and Chance The Rapper’s competition series, Rhythm + Flow. With all of that going on, Pusha T made noise when he teased the remix of the Succession theme song.
When Pusha T teased the remix to the HBO drama, fans went crazy. In fact, the theme song’s original composer, Nicholas Britell, even thought the G.O.O.D Music President was the perfect choice to remix the record.
He said, “There was only one person on the list of people to reach out to. Of course it had to be Pusha. There was no backup, there was no plan B.
Britell added, “Pusha’s voice is like a missile!”
The remix comes just in time for the show’s second season finale. Check out the song above and let us know what you think.
