Round 2. Pusha T is back for more in what is starting to come off as his most visual era to date in terms of just how accessible he is to the general public at the moment. Fresh off the news of being named president of Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music, Pusha T found that as the perfect opportunity to launch into his brand new era of music. Touching down with the haunting but ear-catching, ‘Untouchable,’ Pusha T is now back for more as he taps singer and songwriter, The-Dream, for his new tune, ‘M.F.T.R.’ Teasing his fans with the record’s lyrics just yesterday, we now have the finish product for consumption. In a change of pace from his previous record, ‘M.F.T.R.’ holds a catchy chorus and intro thanks to the amazing pen of The-Dream. Showing off his lyrical abilities, Pusha T doesn’t go for a build up as he immediately unleashes into vivid wordplay that hosts shout-outs to the “Derek Jeters” and “Dapper Dan.” Upon releasing solo material, a focus towards radio records has never been the aim of the lyricist. Perhaps his most ear-friendly record to date, Pusha T still holds true to what his fans have grown to love him for. Get lost in the story of ‘M.F.T.R.,’ below.
