The good folks over at PUMA are fresh off their great fashion show held at NYFW which introduced to the world the first season of Rihanna’s FENTY PUMA collection. If you missed the show the recap can be checked out here.
Prior to the show there was a report by US Weekly that sources were confirming Kylie Jenner was inking a 7 figure deal with PUMA. Not too long after this news starting making waves, it was brother in law, Kanye West who took to twitter to address the news which made many believe that deal wasn’t going through or would be dismissed.
Well it has now been confirmed by PUMA by way of an official statement which can be seen below that they are in fact working with Kylie Jenner.
“I am pleased and excited to be able to confirm that PUMA is indeed working with Kylie Jenner. Kylie will be featured in the brand’s Spring/Summer women’s training campaign launching in April 2016. Kylie represents a fresh and exciting new era for fashion and we couldn’t think of a more fitting and influential female to headline this campaign for PUMA.”
– Adam Petrick, Global Director of Brand and Marketing for PUMA
Interesting enough, I am very intrigued to see what the next move is when the roll out of Kylie Jenner’s involvement with PUMA begins in April. Having the likes of Rihanna and Kylie on board is a step in the right direction, congratulations to both parties.
