As we all are aware, 2015 was a great year for the world of Hip-Hop. Looking back, it seemed as if each new week brought about a new release in the form of singles, albums, and/or mixtapes from some of Hip-Hop’s packed and active roster. Among those dropping off new material was none other than Puff Daddy himself, who took the opportunity in the second half of the year and released a free studio album, MMM. In true Puff Daddy fashion, the LP spawned collaborations from the current who’s who and widely respected acts. Among the cuts was the Jadakiss and Styles P-assisted, ‘Old Man Wildin,’ which held true to its title as the trio blazed over the retro-inspired production. Now, as we’re into 2016, the record isn’t finished yet as the likes of French Montana and Manolo Rose have took a liking to the tune and have put their spin on the record. Kicked off by a short intro by Rose, French then goes straight in and shouts out everyone from Gladys Knight to Mobb Deep. Being a simple but effective touch to the record and a nice addition for fans, Hip-Hop still awaits French’s next studio album. Check out the ‘Old Man Wildin’ remix, below.
