President Barack Obama is a frequent guest on late night television.
Last night [Monday], the president paid a visit to “The Colbert Report’, going as far as hosting the show from the White House.
Obama took over the host’s desk for Colbert’s regular segment “The Word,” but in an effort to sound more presidential, Obama renamed it “the Decree,” reading exactly what was on Colbert’s teleprompter.
However, the speech was a diss against Obamacare, which gave Obama the opportunity to admit a few mistakes and promote the plan to Colbert’s young audience.
Later in the show, Colbert and Obama sat down for a full interview, discussing mid-term elections, recent job reports and immigration.
The final episode of The Colbert Report airs December 18.
