
President Barack Obama gave a speech Wednesday in which he referenced Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo. Unfortunately, it seems that President Obama didn’t prepare quite enough for his speech — or at least the part where he had to pronounce Antetokounmpo’s name. Here’s the video:

To Obama’s credit, he really did a pretty good job of pronouncing it. He just stumbled a bit on the second-to-last syllable and lost confidence in his ability to correctly pronounce it, which led to the word seeming to end with a question mark, rather than a period. Like: “Giannis Anteto…kounmpo? The President was interrupted immediately with a shower of applause.
