The moment finally came for Tariq St. Patrick to finally die, but Ghost and Tommy proved they could come together for a common goal. Not to mention, LaKeisha and Tasha also put aside their differences for a common goal. With all of that being said, we ended this week’s episode with more feuds than we had when we began. Benny and Vincent may come to blows because Benny took the side of the St. Patrick’s. Councilman Tate is still trying to go at Ghost, Tariq hates his family and 2-Bit may try to kill Dre now that he knows he is free. Heading into next week’s episode, it’s clear that someone important is going to die within the next two weeks.
1. Councilman Tate

Plausible deniability is the most precious thing to have in the world of Power, but Councilman Tate seems to reject it at every possible turn. When Ghost attempts to kill Tommy in broad daylight, he inserted himself. When Ghost needs money to get Tariq, he wants to know more than he should. With this most recent incident at the club, Tate is going to further inquire about matters that have absolutely nothing to do with him. Tate is valuable as a potential governor, not as an ex-cop turned ring leader. However, he fails to understand that and it will ultimately be his downfall.
2. Cooper Saxe
Ghost could die and Saxe would accuse James St. Patrick of killing ghost. https://t.co/RPISN7sEDW

Although Saxe wasn’t in this week’s episode, it didn’t stop me from thinking he will die next week or the week afterward. Saxe has married himself to the idea that Ghost killed Angela. Despite Dre and his partner both telling him that Ghost did not kill Angela, he continues to go at Ghost. Not to mention, he’s received physical evidence that Ghost is not the person who pulled the trigger. If he keeps going at Ghost, he’ll end up dead. It’s only a matter of time.
3. LaKeisha Grant

While LaKeisha was a largely inconsequential character this week, Tasha did reveal some very important information about her. Most notably, Tasha highlighted that despite her confidence, LaKeisha does not know how to properly clean money through her shop. Given the conversations LaKeisha has had about Holly, it appears that everything is leading towards Tommy being forced to make a decision between his survival and Lakeisha. Guess which one he’s going to choose?
4. Vincent Ragni
Vincent had to put pressure on Ghost and Tommy. #PowerTV pic.twitter.com/wCpcoDjZIY

This man can’t get out of the way. He has his own lane. He has his own business and he has his own life. However, he continues to have this urge to inset himself into Ghost and Tommy’s life. Understandably, he’s still heated over the death of his godson, but attaching himself to Tariq isn’t going to bring him back. Furthermore, Vincent thought the way to get back at Ghost and Tommy was to follow a plan put together by Tariq. In other words, a grown man named Vincent thought the way to outsmart a business owner and a drug kingpin was to follow the plan of a teenager who thought it was a good idea to disguise baby aspirin as drugs. Simply put, Vincent stubborn, emotional, unintelligent and it’s going to lead him to pick a fight that’s going to get him killed.
5. Tariq St. Patrick
Do you think Blanca is buying it? #PowerTV pic.twitter.com/nHOw2rUAbT

For most kids, a sack of oranges to the ribs would be a deterrent to re-entering the drug game. Unfortunately, Tariq is not like most kids. If there’s anything that’s for certain in Power, it is that Tariq believes he is smarter than everyone else around him. In reality, the opposite is true. Tariq is stubborn and not that smart. Those two traits will lead him back into the drug game. This time around, he won’t have the protection of his godfather or Kanan. Without someone to fall back on, Tariq is setting himself up for failure.
