It turns out that modeling lies in the Delevingne genes. Cara Delevingne’s older sister Poppy, who is also a British model, collaborated with Solid & Striped on an exclusive swimwear collection. Poppy was gifted a Solid & Striped bikini by a friend and she absolutely fell in love with it. She was then introduced to the label’s founder Isaac Ross through a mutual friend. She then went on to design a collection that pays homage to her all-time favorite style icon, Alabama Worley from the movie True Romance. She designed a print that mirrored that character. She was also inspired by Miami Vice and Saved by the Bell, a mix of kitsch and cool. This 16 piece collaboration collection is anything but boring – due to it’s color combinations and design factors. Depending on your preference you can choose between a halterneck bikini, a bandeau bikini and a one-piece maillot in bright blue, coral pink and cream. Also available is the flamingo-print. The Solid & Striped brand strives for elegance and simplicity in the swimwear direction, working with the finest European and Japanese fabrics.
