While out in Paris, France, New York’s own Pop Smoke has released a new video for “Christopher Walking” directed by Brennan Rowe. Throughout the video, Pop Smoke rides through the streets of New York while Rowe intertwines some videos of Malcolm X, the Black Panther Party and other historical Black American figures. It’s definitely a major step up as he continues to rise from New York to international success.
“We gon’ tie that boy up like a cowboy/I’m the one that they envy like Calboy/Broke b*tches ain’t allowed/She wanna f*ck with a real one, but real niggas back in style/I ain’t no window shopper, your man out here window shoppin’/I be in all the stores, and no, we ain’t window shoppin’,” Pop Smoke raps.
“N*ggas sayin’ they outside/Send the addy, we gon’ slide/Air it out when we arrive/Poppin’ that shit but they don’t want the smoke,” Pop Smoke adds.
“Christopher Walking” is produced by WondaGurl and Cash Money AP. It’s also expected the be the first single on his upcoming project, Meet The Woo 2. While we wait for the full project, check out the video above.
