Polo G announces a brand new album slated for release this month.
The Chicago artist readies his sophomore project after a successful debut in June 2019. Die A Legend featured his breakout hit “Pop Out,” with the assistance of Lil Tjay, as well as “Pop Out Again” featuring Atlanta’s dynamic duo Lil Baby and Gunna.
Now, Polo G aims to assert is status as one of Chicago’s next big Hip-Hop acts beyond the restraints of a party anthem. The rapper titles his new album The Goat, a term popularized in Hip-Hop by LL Cool J and a title many hope to be labeled by themselves, their fans, or industry peers.
On the album cover, Polo G appears in all black, decorated by his signature chains and dark shades with a pair of goat horns sprouting from the sides of his forehead. The background, glazed in smoke features images of Polo G and his infant son.
Polo G shared the artwork on his Instagram page, announcing The Goat’s official release date of May 15, 2020.
This post will be updated with the tracklist when it becomes available.
