After years of speculation, the plot and setting details for Finding Dory have been revealed.
According to Slashfilm, Pixar president Jim Morris revealed during the Comic Con Experience in Brazil, that the majority of the film will take place at the Marine Biology Institute of California, a large rehabilitation facility for marine life.
The film centers around Dory, who discovers she was born there and freed into the ocean at a young age, and sets on a mission to find her parents.
Ellen DeGeneres reprises her role as the loveable fish, a long with both Marlin [Albert Brooks] and Nemo.
Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy will play Dory’s parents, while Idris Elba and Dominc West will voice other characters in the sequel.
The sequel was originally scheduled to release November 2015, but has been pushed back to release on June 17, 2016.
