Legal woes have hit Playboi Carti due to a recent arrest on Thursday, April 2.
The star, who is known for records like “Magnolia” and “FlatBed Freestyle”, found himself in some trouble with law enforcement, after being pulled over in Clayton County, Georgia for expired tags. It was during the stop that police discovered 12 bags of Marijuana, Oxycodone, 3 guns, Codeine and Xanax in the rapper’s Lamborghini.
In a now deleted tweet, Carti’s friend, Gunner Stahl, who works as a photographer, has stated that Carti is currently free and not in custody.
Playboi Carti released his debut album, Die Lit, in 2018, and his expected to followup with his sophomore release, sometime in 2020. We’ll be sure to keep you posted as more details surface.
