A ‘Pink Panther’ reboot is in the works.
Variety is reporting that the film will be a combination of live action and animation. It will also focus on the titular character rather than Inspector Clouseau.
‘The Simpsons Movie’ director David Silverman has been hired to direct the production.
No plot details or casting decisions have been announced yet.
The most recent reboot of the classic cartoon was back in 2006 and 2009 when Steve Martin starred in the live action film as bumbling Inspector Clouseau.
