Pierce Brosnan has announced he will star in ‘The Expendables’ sequel.
In an interview with ShortList, the actor said he has already talked to producer Avi Lerner about appearing in the film.
“I just worked over in Bulgaria with Avi Lerner who makes them,” said Brosnan, “Would you like to be in The Expendables? I’d love to have you’, and I said, ‘Why not?’ So we’ll see.”
He would be the first James Bond actor to appear in the franchise. He will star alongside other big name action stars including Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Antonio Bandaras, Dolph Lundgren, Wesley Snipes, and Harrison Ford.
‘The Expendables 3’ will hit theaters on August.
