Carmelo’s first visit in his free agency tour was Chicago on Tuesday. The Chicago Bulls used The United Center as a decoration with Carmelo in a Chicago Bulls uniform and The Larry O’Brien trophy all around the building. Bulls players Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah were in attendance for the visit, and Bulls Point Guard Derrick Rose even worked out in front of Carmelo Anthony to prove he was healthy according to reports. If Rose does in fact get paired with Melo it would be the best player he’s been paired up with, and the same goes for Carmelo. The Bulls brass left the meeting confident Anthony is strongly considering coming to Chicago in free agency, but Carmelo more than likely is no where near a decision considering Houston, Los Angeles, and Dallas are lining up for a meeting as well. It is exciting to see Carmelo in a Bulls jersey though, and I hope he makes the choice to stay in The Eastern Conference just so another talent doesn’t go out Western Conference because we all know The East is already weak enough.
