Yesterday the Phoenix Suns unveiled their new uniforms for the new NBA season, including a short sleeved alternate jersey. Personally I like them, they’re modern but also links to the old “Barkley era” jerseys with the Suns basketball streaked across the jersey.
But uniforms don’t make the team. The players do, saying that lets see where the Suns are at team wise…
When you look up and down the roster, you look at the names and say “bench player”, “sixth man” things like that.
Some players will be out to prove skeptics like me wrong, for example Goran Dragic and Eric Bledsoe as two prominent PG’s. The Morris brothers have to start putting in work and also Alex Len, we’ll see how he comes out as a rookie.
They have a half decent squad don’t get me wrong but i’m one of them people with the star power philosophy. If you don’t have at least two star players, your not going anywhere in terms of playoff basketball. Will that hinder them? We’ll see, I hope they prove me wrong…
