The Phoenix Suns have moved into the Greg Monroe sweepstakes which comes as a shock considering Phoenix still needs to sign Eric Bledsoe to a contract. If Phoenix does sign Monroe it’s a very interesting move to say the least. I think Monroe goes back to his original position at Center for Phoenix and would work great along side the Morris brothers at power forward. If Monroe is signed by The Suns it could mean the end of Eric Bledsoe in Phoenix, which would be a surprise since The Suns and Bledsoe are $48 million dollars apart in contract negotiations.
It’s been a long off season for Power Forward Greg Monroe. Since he’s a restricted free agent he’s watched plenty of free agents get signed and nothing is on the radar for him besides Phoenix or a return to Detroit. Which for a while I thought a return to Detroit might be in his best interest. With Detroit playing the waiting game on Monroe they appear to be very patient to let the market for Monroe set itself up.
