Phoenix Suns’ Marcus And Markieff Morris Linked To Assault Investigation

A report from CBS5 KPHO in Phoenix has linked Phoenix Suns twins Marcus and Markieff Morris to an ongoing investigation involving an assault that occurred outside of a gym in Phoenix last Saturday. No charges have been filed and there were no arrests made yet.

CBS 5 News has learned Markieff Morris and Marcus Morris are part of a possible assault INVESTIGATIONbeing handled by Phoenix police.
Police CONFIRM they are INVESTIGATING an alleged assault that occurred around 7:30 p.m. Saturday outside a gym near 15th Avenue and Colter in central Phoenix.

As of right now the Morris twins are just considered suspects. Both played in the Suns’ blowout win against the Wizards on Wednesday night.

Markieff and Marcus played together at the University of Kansas. It wasn’t too long before they found their way onto the same NBA team after being drafted.
