
The NBA’s international brand is growing in many places around the world. Their growing markets in Asia and Europe are developing international players that play in the NBA already and now, Central America has become a place the NBA is looking to expand to. With regular season games played in Mexico last year, the NBA is continuing it’s new annual tradition.
According to Marc Stein of ESPN, the Phoenix Sun will be hosting two regular season games against the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Mavericks in Mexico City:

These games come as efforts to grow the NBA’s international brand and with games starting in Mexico City, you can bet they will look to have even more games in Central and South America in the coming years. The NBA is growing and that is helping the world get educated about the sport of basketball.
