Phoenix Suns’ Goran Dragic Wins NBA’s Most Improved Award
The NBA has announced that Phoenix Suns guard Goran Dragic has won the NBA’s Most Improved Player Award. Lance Stephenson of the Indiana Pacers finished second and Anthony Davis of Pelicans finished third.
Dragic averaged 20.3 points per game this season (+6.6 from his career high) and shot 40.8% from three-point range, leading the Suns to a near playoff-worthy 48-win season with a rookie head coach and an early injury to Eric Bledsoe. Dragic will have the chance to opt in for one more season at his current salary or hit the free agency market next summer.
