
The D.C., Maryland and Virginia area is often one of the most overlooked regions in Hip-Hop history. Over the last two decades, the area has delivered talents such Timbaland, Pharrell and Missy Elliot. Today, the area is home to some of the best established and upcoming acts such as Pusha T, Wale, Logic and Goldlink just to name a few. However, there’s much more than meets the eye. Beyond the household names, the region is home to acts such Innanet James and Shy Glizzy. Along with this group of musicians is Washington, D.C.’s own Phil Ade.
The Washington, D.C. artist has worked closely with acts such as Wale and toured with Lupe Fiasco. He’s also signed to Epic Records and best known for his R.O.S.E project back in the summer of 2013. Today, the talented artist is back with another body of work called Always Something. Coming in with six tracks, the new project Super Miles, DJ Money and many more. In addition, the project also features Wale, Rich The Kid, Goldlink, Fatman Scoop and Lil’ Baby.
