When Paul Pierce who is 37 years old, signed a 3-year, $10.5 million contract with the Los Angeles Clippers, you know his days are numbered. After his one year stint with the Wizards, Pierce has signed a deal with the Clippers. One that is potential the last place he will ever play NBA basketball again. According to J.A Adande of ESPN:
Paul Pierce: “This is probably the last ride of my career. I think this is where I’m going to end it.”

Pierce is a Los Angeles native, and towards the end of an already hall-of-fame career, he will have to help the Clippers win it in his hometown city. Is there something Pierce hasn’t done? It’s like he enjoys winning too much, so he’s just trying to win one in his hometown for fun. The Clippers have arguably one of the best rosters in the NBA right now and they are poised to make a deep Playoff run. With a veteran in Pierce, DeAndre, Blake and Chris Paul all ready, it will be fun. Pierce also mentioned he never wants to be a Laker. First time we’re hearing that from someone.
