Paul Pierce is one of the most fierce trash talkers in the NBA, and he is probably one of the most vocal NBA players in the NBA. Last night against the Golden State Warriors Paul Pierce hurt his knee in a collision and had to be carried off the floor. Paul Pierce who is in his 18th year in the NBA, really hopes know injuries sideline him anymore, but that’s not what he’ll tell you.
According to the Washington Post:
Pierce needed help from Kevin Seraphin and Nene on his walk to the locker room but emphasized the knee is not a concern.
“It was just basically a knee to knee, just ice it,” Pierce said. “I think it will be alright.”
Pierce was walking around the Wizards locker room without a noticeable limp following the game.
“Can’t break steel,” he declared as he walked away from the throng of reporters.
Count on Paul Pierce to always say something funny or cocky at the end of his interview. Hopefully Paul can come back and help the Wizards climb up a now wide open Eastern Conference.
