Paul Pierce has done so much talking! But. Like a boss. He’s backed it up. You can’t help but love a guy that talks but backs it up. It may be annoying at times. But he gets the job done. Even at his age!
Pierce has been making a lot of headlines up in the nation’s capitol. And here’s the smart thing. Nobody has talked about John Wall and Bradley Beal. Want to know why? Because Paul Pierce has been invading the papers. And because nobody is bothering Wall and Beal. They’re concentrating on their game and I guess it has worked.
But don’t expect Pierce to stop now. Oh no he’s on a roll and that’s just who The Truth is. What you see is what you get.
“I just look at it as good banter,” Pierce said. “Good banter. That’s the word. A lot of this stuff I don’t pre-think it. It just comes out naturally.”
He added: “Paul Pierce is just going to be who Paul Pierce is going to be. I’m going to be myself. If it helps our team or hurts our team, I’m just trying to be myself and see where that goes. I’m a vocal person. I speak up. I tell the guys how I feel. I’m emotional. It’s just me being me truthfully.“
The Truth is one of the last players that talk trash and back it up. We rarely see that anymore. And I think it’s quite a shame.
