Let’s not get it twisted. I like playing NBA2K, but I’ll never pass up a chance to play ball in reality. You know. Outside!
Paul Pierce isn’t the fiercest trash talker in the league. But he likes to let his jaw loose now and again. Personally I love trash talking. It always gives the people involved a little boost, a little grit comes into their game.
Trash talking is hard to find in this day and age, and Washington veteran Paul Pierce might have the answer. Video games.
“Computers. They play NBA2K instead of going to the park“
Now people trash talk on 2K. Weirdly enough it’s the kids on 2K that trash talk the most. These 12 year olds that get a lucky crossover on you they suddenly think they’re Allen Iverson. We’ve all met that cocky kid that would get stomped in reality. And that’s what video games are for no? To do things that you aren’t able to do in reality. I’d like to shoot like Steph Curry. I’d like to dunk like LeBron. We all want to be about that life.
When it comes to trash talking. I think that talented, future NBA players are taught to trash talk with their skills instead of their mouths. And that’s fine. But hey. I wouldn’t mind a few more Gary Payton’s or Allen Iverson’s in the league.
