Paul George has been incredibly vocal this season about how different the Pacers are than previous teams he has been a part of. George is used to playing on winning, tough, and defensively focused teams words you just wouldn’t use to describe this year’s roster. His latest comment comes in the form of envy and hope if you are a Celtics fan. According to Celtics reporter, Marc D’Amico, George heaped praise on the Celtics.
Paul George really, really likes what he sees out of the #Celtics. Here’s proof. pic.twitter.com/2paqHX8Upz

Paul George really wants to play for a winning team and one that plays together. This comment must be music to the ears of the Celtics front office who reportedly took swings to nab George before the trade deadline. George has now perfectly put into place an argument for the Celtics in order to persuade him to join them in Boston when he becomes a free agent. It also incentivizes the Pacers to maybe look at the Celtics as a potential trade partner because they know there is a mutual interest. The consistent rumblings from George also increase the chances he gets moved because losing a star for nothing is the ultimate fear of having a great player that may be on the way out.
