Paul George had been in the league since 2010. 10th pick in the Draft. And now in major consideration for MVP…
But the question for now is “Is he on the level of Lebron, Durant, Duncan, Kobe?”
And the answer is no.
Hear me out. Ask yourself why have I put just LeBron, KD, Kobe and Duncan in a level on their own? Because of their accomplishments…
Kobe: 5 rings and the highest paid player in the league… On lock for H.O.F
Duncan: 4 time NBA champion, 2 MVP’s, countless all stars need I say more?
Durant: 3 scoring titles in a row, should’ve been a 4th a finals appearance and he STILL hasn’t reached his “prime”.
LeBron: 2 time NBA champion, 4 MVP’s and is on for a hat trick.
Now Paul George is definitely one of the leaders for the future of the NBA (which is so bright I need sunglasses) but still has a way to go in terms of getting to “the level of champions” i like to call it.
But it would be an amazing start to get to that level by being the first player to get MVP after an MIP season…
