
Oklahoma City Thunder forward Paul George, mixed martial artist Demetrious Johnson, and rapper Desiigner – among other celebrities – will be participating in a Fortnite Pro-Am Charity Event for $3 million at E3 2018, according to Epic Games:

Downtown Los Angeles! The Battle Bus is en-route to E3 2018 and the whole squad is coming. Join us at the Fortnite booth 2723 in the South Hall of the LA Convention Center, or tune-in to the 100-player Pro-Am featuring your favorite Fortnite pros and celebrities.
The tournament, which will be streamed live on Twitch on June 12 at 3:30 PM PST, and will pair 50 Fortnite ‘pros’, including famed streamers Ninja and Myth, paired alongside a plethora of celebrities. Each duo will compete for a total of $3 million in prize money to donate to a charity of their choosing in what will be Epic Games’ first developer-supported event.
Paul George isn’t the only NBA star infatuated with the free-to-play battle royal, with Los Angeles Lakers rookie Josh Hart, Brooklyn Nets forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Detroit Pistons teammates Reggie Jackson and Andre Drummond, Minnesota Timberwolves teammates Andrew Wiggins and Karl Anthony-Towns, and Boston Celtics forward Gordon Hayward getting in the mix as well, among others.
Fortnite has taken the world by storm, with the aforementioned Ninja breaking Twitch records alongside rappers Drake and Travis Scott, and Pittsburgh Steelers’ wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster in March.
