Pau Gasol has been on a tear this year. An All-Star tear. This year has been his best in terms of efficiency since the 2010-11 season and it’s showing. Providing a dimension of basketball that the Chicago Bulls have needed.
“I’m re-energized. I’m in positions where I’m comfortable and effective, so I make a lot of plays,” Gasol said of his wonderful new life as a Chicago Bull instead of a Los Angeles Laker. “And the fact that my name is not on the trade block like it has been for the past three years, that’s a factor that’s overlooked.
“It’s huge. It’s huge not to have to think about that and have it in the back of your mind constantly. It’s nice to have that type of security and comfort.“
Despite the bad losses that Chicago has had. I still have them going to the NBA Finals. Because the only problem they have is lack of chemistry. There’s always a player out. But once everyone is healthy. They’ll be solid. And we’ve seen Pau Gasol carry the Bulls. Who’s to say that he won’t do that for a few Playoff games?
