Pau Gasol is a future hall of famer. The Spaniard has tons of accolades, including 2 NBA championships with Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers, one Rookie of The Year (only international player to do that) in 2002, 5 time NBA All-star, and a 3 time All-NBA team selection. Now he can add another accolade into his library as he scored his 18,000th point against the Orlando Magic.
This makes him the #1 scorer in all hispanic NBA players ever, and #5 on the All-time international players scoring list. Pau Gasol now plays for the Chicago Bulls, who are currently fighting for Playoff positioning with the Toronto Raptors. The Bulls are fighting for the 3rd or 4th seed in the East, and Gasol is one of the main factors that have put them in that situation in the first place. With Derrick Rose sidelined for a majority of the season and Jimmy Butler and Noah never fully healthy, Gasol carried a huge load on his back for the majority of the season.
