Tom Brady isn’t leaving New England anytime soon. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Patriots believe Brady will stick around for at least a few more years.
In their long-term planning, #Patriots believe QB Tom Brady will play 3-5 more years, sources say. That’s why trading Jimmy G is possible.

5 more years would put Brady at 44 which would be a remarkable thing for any athlete. Tom’s current deal runs through the 2019 season so there would be no urgency to ink an extension until after next season. The Patriots legend has been incredibly durable during his tenuous career only missing one year with an ACL tear and 4 games due to deflategate. Only time will tell if Brady can actually play that long but at this point, no one should doubt him right?
The bigger story of the offseason will be the trade of Jimmy Garoppolo. How much will he be worth? With only 1 year left on Garoppolo’s deal, it only makes sense to trade him now.
