Safety and special teams ace Duron Harmon isn’t leaving New England anytime soon. Harmon was re-signed with the Patriots on a 4-year deal. Jeff Howe of The Boston Herald reported the news.

Harmon started 4 games for the Patriots in 2016 recording 27 tackles and 1 interception. He will likely start next to Devin McCourty in 2017 as Patrick Chung may not return. Both players will be under contract through the 2019 season. Harmon wasn’t the only player to boost the Patriots secondary this offseason with the addition of Stephon Gilmore.
New England could lose two of their top corners this offseason in the form of Malcolm Butler and Logan Ryan. Butler has been rumored to be a part of the trade for Brandin Cooks.
