The 2 ‘conjuring stars’ will return and reprise their roles for the 3rd installment in the ‘Annabelle’ franchise.
Fermiga & Wilson were introduced to us in the first Conjuring as the paranormal investigators in 2013, which led to an entire universe that has grossed a total of $1.56 Billion globally. Now, after 2 installments of the of the ‘Annabelle’ series, both actors have signed on for the 3rd movie.
The film will revolve around the demonic doll ‘Annabelle’ who after finally being put into the Warrens ‘Artifacts Room’ but soon, it sets its eyes on their 10-year old daughter Judy (played by McKenna Grace).
The film is set to debut in theatres July 3rd 2019. The fact that 4 different spin-offs have been created from the original ‘Conjuring’ movies, makes signing on for another installment a no-brainer for Farmiga and Wilson who are busy actors themselves.
Wilson will star next to Jason Momoa in DC’s Aquaman film in December. While the Bates Motel actress, Farmiga is set to star in a number of movies like Captive State and Godzilla. Even starring in a limited-series drama regarding the incident of the ‘Central Park Five’.
‘The Nun’ made over 300 million in global revenue and judging by their last film in the franchise, ‘Annabelle’ should do about the same.
