I’d love to go back to New York.
I’m not sure what is going to happen in terms of who they’re going to have fill that void, but if I get a call, I’m ready.
That’s the words of Knicks legend Patrick Ewing via the New York Daily News on maybe being back in the New York ranks as their Head Coach.
Ewing already has some coaching experience, he’s been assistant coach for the formerly named Charlotte Bobcats since 2003. So its safe to say he’s ready to step up.
Whether Phil Jackson wants him though is a different story. We all know he wants a guy who is Triangle savvy and Ewing does not fit that bill. But with over a decade in coaching experience I would happily take him over Bill Cartwright or Steve Kerr (before he wisely chose Golden State).
