The Houston Rockets have another injury to add to the list. Backup point guard Patrick Beverley suffered a concussion in Wednesday’s overtime win against the Orlando Magic. As a result of the injury, Beverley will sit out at least one game:
Pat Beverley is out tomorrow with a concussion. Corey Brewer is probable with a left thigh contusion. Terrence Jones still out.

The Rockets have already piled on several injuries with Donatas Motiejunas and Terrence Jones also out for their game against the Sacramento Kings on Friday. Fortunately, Beverley’s injury seems like it will not keep him out of action for too long. Nevertheless, the Rockets will surely do their due diligence in deciding whether he is fit to come back soon.
In the meantime, backup point guard duties will likely fall to Jason Terry while Ty Lawson may see an increase in his minutes. James Harden can also spend some time playing the point guard position.
