Unfortunately we have a long way to go before change, the change needed to put an end to the heinous acts of murder against people of color by the hands of law enforcement. But as it may seem we are making some progress in the right direction as celebrities or any individual with the platform to express their displeasure is starting to make their voices heard.
It is a small step for a large cause and that is what matters. It is going to take a lot more to get the results we demand but staying quiet won’t be the answer.
