Cam’ron has confirmed that discussions pertaining to a Paid In Full sequel or spin-off are taking place. During a recent question and answer session on Instagram Live, the best-selling artist hinted that a film may be in the works sooner than you think.
He noted that discussions have been taking place “in the last few months.” He later added that he’s been asked about the project “several times.”
“Actually, a couple hours ago, something we talked about Paid in Full 2,” the New York native said.
“I don’t want to say 100 percent yes, but we’re definitely in the talks about doing something similar to Paid in Full. It’s definitely a conversation going on right now about that, 100 percent,” Cam’ron added.
While he noted the project is a real possibility, he did not confirm that Mekhi Phifer, Wood Harris or Regina Hall would return for another film. If this project does come to fruition, it appears that he would like it to be released through Dimension Films. He has long had a relationship with the distributor.
