Michael B. Jordan’s production company, Outlier Society, is teaming up with Amazon Studios to host drive-in movie screenings spotlighting storytellers of color. The “A Night At The Drive-In” series will run from July 1, 2020 through August.
“When Michael and our friends at Outlier proposed this idea, we instantly agreed there was no better time to celebrate these inspired films featuring diverse stories while bringing communities together to share in the experience,” Amazon Studios executive Jennifer Salke said.

“Now more than ever, amplifying Black and Brown stories means engaging culture to speak to hearts and minds about the world we live in. As we use this opportunity to reimagine community and proximity, I am excited that these films will be shared and celebrated all across the country,” Jordan added.
The drive-in movie series will feature movies such as Creed, Coming To America, Love & Basketball, Black Panther, Get Out and Girls Trip. Refreshments will be provided by minority owned businesses such as Partake Cookies, Path Water and Pipcorn Popcorn. To find out if the series will hit your city, visit their website.
